The
Categories Button
The Categories button lets you add, modify or
remove categories from your GenCat catalog.

When
you select Add or Modify, the Work panel changes
to the form to the left.
- Category
Background
- Name
- The title of this category
- Long
Description - The text that will appear on the main page
of this category- HTML tags are ok
- Image
- If you have an image that you want to associate with this
category, you can add it here- some templates will not use the
category image
- Parent
Category
- Select
Parent - Use the select box to make this category a sub-category
of another category in your catalog- You can have as many levels
of sub-categories as you want
- No Parent?
- Check this box if you want your category to appear as a top
level category in your catalog
- OK
and Cancel - Make sure
to press OK to submit changes
For
reference, the sub-categories and
items contained in this category
are listed near the bottom of the panel. These lists can not be modified
from this screen. |
